- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I thought that the local hospital in our community was there for people who may not have other medical options nor medicaid or a lot of money. My son had a toothache and had no other recourse so he went to our emergency room. He tooth had been pulled and left a hole in the gum that was infected. The Physician gave him a prescription for antibiotic. He received a bill from the hospital for several hundred dollars and I paid it thinking that was the end of the matter. Now I have a bill from the Jasper Emergency Physicians for $491. I feel this amount is way out of proportion to the service provided. if we can't go to our local emergency room when no other options are available what does it say about our County.April 02, 2017by robert zekowski
